Lab dip program, sample fabric program and development sample program are 3 programs that a merchandiser must prepare and those should get buyer’s approval.
Lab dip program:
It is a color approval program. Three 2cm*2cm fabric has to be
dyed according to the requirement of the buyer. Then those samples are sent to
the buyer for approval. Each lab dip sample has a unique lab dip number.

Buyer choose one of the 3 samples provided by the merchandiser. That sample is considered as the final sample. In the PP meeting that sample is presented so that the dyeing department can produce that exact shade.
